SPORTXS is first of its kind sports gear retail destination in India. It has a unique retail format which caters to three different interest levels of people- Enjoy, Play & Perform. The challenge was to communicate with a diverse target audience while preserving the true essence of SPORTXS.
The core idea was to engage a serious sports enthusiast just as much as someone who may just want to know more about a certain sport.

IDENTITY
Logo is derived from a simple shape – 3 triangles which depicts dynamism of the brand. This form has been extended to create an icon system to depict various sports and visual imagery for the store.
The signage system & space graphics have been designed to create a high energy and pulsating environment.

OLD IDENTITY

NEW IDENTITY

The study
The project was initiated with a research study to understand how other design boutiques positioned themselves and marketed their offerings. Extensive research was administered to understand the brand philosophy of such stores across India.
The process gave us different perspectives on different brand positioning strategies and brand personality structures. Since the differentiating factor of the products in this store was the Form Language, Quality and the Product range, we wanted to shift focus from being just a furniture store to a holistic Lifestyle store.
The Core Idea
Urban Living – At SPACEWISE traditional craftsmanship blends seamlessly with contemporary inspirations to create a new lifestyle. A lifestyle that values the small details that enrich everyday life. A lifestyle that creates a space that nurtures inspirations every day. We call this Urban Living.

Positioning & Personality
SPACEWISE is positioned as a boutique space where products are judged by their value and not their price. Each piece has a unique story to tell- from the inspiration behind the form to the material used. The value of each piece lies in its inspiration and not the cost of materials.
SPACEWISE as a retail format also serves to create customized product for its clients – giving form to their inspirations.
The Brand
The Core Idea and personality was extended across all collaterals. The texture & visual imagery created was done using the same form language of the Logo type. The idea was to extend the experience from the store to what a customer takes away from the Store.
