Eggsunday is a food court brand that serves simply mouth watering varieties of egg dishes competitively priced and with new recipes added every month. The first outlet is located at a Food court on Mumbai – Pune highway.
Core Idea
Healthy, quick, fresh and an anytime meal
Brand identity
Eggsunday identity is simple ,emphasizing the visual and aesthetic appeal of the egg . The 2 Gs in the logo depicts four variety of eggs served – fried eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and omlettes. The connect between eggs and unday is a quirky mix of two languages (english & hindi) and hence the logotype also maintains the same spirit without separating the two.
Menu
Name of the dishes are playful depicting the combination of hindi and english. We worked on pricing of the products as well to keep it affordable & competitively priced

new recipes would helpfull
Juust one word – WOW!! what an idea
Hi,
This is a good concept & I think you’ve covered the right niche yet a mass segment.
Just 1 suggestion: On the first look at your English signage I happened to read it as “Egg Sunday” & not “Eggs Unday”. It was only when I’ve read the Hindi version I got the right one. This is may be because Sunday is a known English word & Unday is not. Since you’re just 1 outlet old you can still correct the wrong branding which can happen especially when you move to other parts of the country i.e. non – hindi speaking areas like South.
All the Best,
Vivek

Great Idea……and great branding strategy guys. All the best and let me know if you plan to expand in Bangalore……
Why the hindi translation is different from english one?
one says eggsande! other says eggsunday?
Otherwise very nice graphic design and concept, good on ground execution too!
hi
the logo is a play on the fact that the name can be read as eggs – unday or egg – sunday. the brand owners wanted to keep the name a little ambiguous – the english logo therefore can be read both ways – the hindi / marathi logo however is meant to be kept small and used only for signage purpose since the same ambiguity that occurs in the english name cannot be used for the hindi name. if there is a suggestion as to how the hindi name can incorporate both eggs – unday and egg sunday – we would love to incorporate it
Thanks folks for appreciating eggsunday, do visit our updated http://www.eggsunday.com … very soon we are coming to Mumbai
Great design.
