Located right near our Mumbai studio, Cafe 10.11/12 is designed as a neighborhood cafe. We designed the cafe around three core principles: food/ design/ community.
The cafe features a small focussed menu designed by one of the leading chefs in India. Using locally sourced ingredients, it creates a charming culinary experience.
The pared down clean aesthetics and the visual identity was designed to create an identity that defies current trends and will not age over time.
As a community space, we designed the cafe to host local events – from talks, workshops, and events – it offers a free venue to the community to foster conversations and engagement locally.
The cafe also functions as a retail space with curated brands displayed in an innovative shelving system. The shelving system is modular and also serves as a lighting feature in the cafe.
As part of our ongoing engagement along with Switch Studio we are bringing brands by local designers onboard and curating events on a monthly basis at the cafe.
